The owner of Veteran Computer Consultants, Richard Ladson, served in the U.S. Army as a volunteer enlisted man.  He was assigned to the Defense Atomic Support Agency at the Pentagon, where he assisted in classified scientific activities.

During his two year tenure he achieved the rank of Specialist E-5.
